Between the posts the case is 220 mm wide. The glass and the metal back run outside them, so it is ≈ 300 mm glass to glass left to right and ≈ 300 mm from the front glass to the metal back. A work can reach into the bays beside the posts on all four sides, so a cross-shaped piece fits if it clears the corners.
